Use a small handheld remote control to get a Linde order picker to follow you around as you pick orders at low height. One press on the remote control activates the machine and sends it onwards to the next location. Press again and it stops. This means there's no need to return to the machine before all the orders have been picked.
Armed with the remote control, and with both hands free, it's possible to reduce the time of every single work cycle. Solely because the operator doesn't need to operate the truck manually to move it on to the next position. Instead, the operator can focus on picking goods quickly, placing them on the pallet and moving swiftly on to the next order.
With the NCN N24 OPTIPICK you can increase productivity in the overall picking process. Quite simply, the job of picking orders will be quicker, easier and more flexible, allowing you to process more orders in less time. The more goods that need picking from different locations, the greater boost this solution will give your productivity.
Less getting on and off the truck, fewer steps from machine to shelf and an easier picking cycle add up to an ergonomic plus for the operator in their daily work. The operator remains on the floor most of the time, as it only needs a light press on the remote control and the truck will follow, allowing the operator to focus exclusively on picking orders.
At startup, the remote control and the machine are paired at the same frequency (via radio waves), so the operator is only able to activate the selected machine. The machine monitors the area in front of it and stops automatically if it registers any obstacles. A laser sensor along the sides stops the machine if it registers movements inside the safety distance. All solutions are certified according to the same ISO standard as AGV solutions.
The OPTIPICK solution is not only compatible with the new Linde order picker, but can also be retrofitted on all existing Linde N20 order pickers in your fleet. This enables you to optimise the picking process on your existing N20 machines. Naturally, the technical retrofit is made after a comprehensive safety test and training in optimal use of the solution.
