As a world-first, N.C. Nielsen offers the hybrid Tower Mover for mobile lifting. The machine is a hybrid between an SPMT trailer and a crane. The modular machine comes with a lifting capacity of 250 tonnes and upwards, making it possible to adapt the machine for extremely heavy transport tasks such as lifting wind turbine towers, giant concrete pipes, machine parts or ships.

The Tower Mover offers flexibility at scale. The legs can be shifted in widths between 9 and 11 metres. The machine can be scaled and continuously modified for specific tasks. It can be operated from the ground, platform or cabin and is packed with safety equipment and cameras that can detect obstacles between the two landing legs.  It can be customised with optional extras such as a hydraulic beak, intermediate yoke and special aggregates. Despite weighing 100 tonnes, the Tower Mover is highly mobile with a short turning radius, balanced speed and good manoeuvrability on many types of surfaces.

The machine is available in a diesel or an electric version and with top-notch service – regardless of where in the world the machine operates. Last but not least: The mobile powerhouse travels effortlessly from indoors to outdoors and can move goods directly from production to storage and on to the quayside or on board a cargo ship.
