As standard, the new Linde models come with a uniquely protected platform, a fully suspended operator's seat, increased lifting speed, and the Linde Curve Assist safety system, which automatically reduces speed in turns.
With a powerful three-phase motor and hydraulically dampened support wheels, the machines operate at speeds up to 14 km/h and can even start on a slope without rolling back.
The protected platform is equipped with a hip-height screen, ensuring the operator remains safely within the machine's outer contours while the suspension minimizes vibrations. The operator can lean against a padded backrest, designed to maintain a constant 45-degree angle relative to the direction of travel. This position offers a clear view of the work area and minimizes strain on the operator's neck and back.
The Linde machines with protected platforms are currently available as the Linde L14-16 stacker with a lifting capacity of 1.4-1.6 tons, the Linde D12HP double stacker with a 1.2-ton capacity, and the Linde T20 pallet truck with a 2.0-ton capacity. All models are available with either traditional lead-acid batteries or the proprietary Lithium-ION batteries from NCN Energy Solutions.
As always, the Linde solution can be customized to individual preferences and the specific warehouse situation. The adjustable steering handle can be replaced with the Linde e-driver concept, where steering is operated with one hand and optimized for the operator's angled position. Optional equipment includes the Linde BlueSpot warning light and Linde Feet Detection, which stops the machine when the operator's feet are detected outside the platform.
“The unique and protected platform is a prime example of Linde safety. It's truly a strong point when presenting the new warehouse machines to customers. Very few wish to compromise on safety. Linde is a frontrunner in safe warehouse logistics. We are proud to represent Linde and to offer our customers maximum safety for their machines,” says Jesper Bech, Sales Manager at N.C. Nielsen.
