Diesel Forklifts for “Vision Zero”

When it comes to safety, nothing is left to chance. The overarching goal is “Vision Zero” – zero accidents in internal logistics. Linde has enhanced every aspect of the forklift to reduce accident risks. Sophisticated design, optimal visibility, and various warning and assistance systems ensure safety both inside and outside the forklift. Operators can only achieve maximum productivity when they feel safe.

Optimised Visibility

The chassis, cab, and mast of the H20-50 diesel forklift have been optimised to provide clear, unobstructed visibility of the load and surroundings in all directions. A slim mast, narrow A-pillar, and lowered front panel improve forward visibility, while slim cross braces in the safety frame and the optional armoured glass roof ensure clear upward visibility. Optional cameras on all sides of the forklift extend the operator’s natural field of vision.

DESIGNED FOR SAFETY

The passive safety of the H20-50 diesel forklift is unmatched. The robust side skirts on the chassis frame provide protection in case of collisions. The low centre of gravity and high-mounted steering axle reduce the risk of tipping. Additionally, top-mounted tilt cylinders and the stable mast design allow for high lifting heights with precise, safe load handling and excellent residual capacities.

STABILITY AND VISIBILITY

The many safety features of the Linde H20-50 diesel and gas forklifts help prevent operational errors. The parking brake activates automatically, ensuring the forklift stops safely, even on ramps or inclines, so the operator can dismount securely. All forklifts without cabs (optional) come equipped with electronic seatbelt monitoring as standard. This ensures the truck can only move in crawl mode if the operator is not fastened. For enhanced visibility and safety, the H20-H35 models can be fitted with various warning and safety lights, such as Linde LED Strips, Linde Truck Spot, and Linde VertiLight.

HARDWORKING HELPERS

The H20-H35 diesel forklift comes standard with Linde Curve Assist, a system that adjusts driving speed based on the steering angle to reduce risks when cornering. Linde Load Assist is also standard, determining the truck’s residual capacity to minimise the risk of accidents. Additional optional safety features include the Linde Load Weight Indicator, Linde Safety Pilot, and Linde Safety Guard.
