Description

The four-wheeled version with the innovative Linde combi-steering axle combines maximum maneuverability with optimum stability. In total, the four-wheeled truck is available in seven different models with different battery capacities and chassis sizes. This means that the E16 – E20 P offer the largest range of models in the 1 to 2 tonne payload range. Ultimate flexibility also applies to the energy source: You can choose from lead-acid and Li-ION batteries as well as fuel cell systems from Linde. Thanks to the plug-and-play principle, fleet operators can continue to use existing batteries or switch between lead-acid and Li-ION without having to convert. Handling performance, energy efficiency, variety of versions and high resale value make the E16 – E20 P an all-round economic choice.
SAFETY
The slimline mast design, narrow A-pillar, spacious cab, and low front plate of the E16 – E20 P provide the driver with an excellent view of the load and the working environment. Narrow cross struts in the roof ensure a clear view during storage and retrieval. An optionally available overhead safety guard made of armored glass provides for good overhead visibility. The low center of gravity of the forklift truck, together with the overhead tilt cylinders and the torsion-resistant mast construction ensure maximum tilt stability.

Electronic seatbelt monitoring reminds the driver to fasten the seatbelt. The automatic parking brake prevents the forklift truck from rolling away on slopes. Linde Curve Assist, fitted as standard, automatically adjusts the speed around bends for even greater safety. Linde Load Assist, which also comes as standard, limits the mast inclination and lift movement depending on the load weight and lift height to reduce the risk of tipping accidents when working at height. Other optional assistance systems are available, including Linde Speed Assist, Linde Safety Pilot, Linde Safety Guard, Linde Reverse Assist Radar and Linde Reverse Assist Camera.

ERGONOMICS
The E16 – E20 P offer a comfortable and ergonomic workplace that helps avoid fatigue and allows for concentrated work even during long shifts. The mast, power unit and steering axle are decoupled from the chassis by elastomer ring bearings. This improves shock absorption and protects the driver from harmful human vibrations in the event of an uneven floor. The spacious driver's cab has a full-graphic 3.5-inch display and user-friendly controls. A large selection of comfort seats with different backrests, upholstery and suspension types provides a relaxed sitting position.

The closed cab trucks are available with heating and air conditioning as standard for optimum temperatures in every working situation. The innovative Linde Steer Control operating system with mini-wheel or joystick is available as an option instead of a steering wheel. It reduces physical strain on the driver and facilitates precise maneuvering.

Handling
The E16 – E20 P impress with their exceptional maneuverability. The four-wheeled version with the Linde combi-steering axle ensures maximum stability. With speeds of up to 20 km/h, they are the ideal choice for fast transport journeys and ensure maximum handling performance in the warehouse. The 48-volt technology provides the perfect balance of performance, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Their modular design means the forklift trucks can be equipped with different energy storage systems, from lead-acid to Li-ION to fuel cells. Existing batteries can continue to be used without problem. Thanks to the plug-and-play principle, it is possible to switch between lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries at any time. Battery replacement in multi-shift operation is a straightforward matter thanks to the side battery door and the frame that opens downwards. An optional on-board charger allows for fast charging, irrespective of location. The forklift trucks integrate seamlessly into digital processes and can be maintained remotely.

Service
The robust design of the E16 – E20 P ensures low service costs and high truck availability. The drive axle with the integrated electric motors and the converter are protected against dust and water as a sealed unit and are largely maintenance-free. For fast, straightforward maintenance, service technicians have easy access to all relevant components. To facilitate the daily inspection of the lead-acid battery, the forklift truck also has a hinged battery cover. Optimized service processes based on wireless transmission and analysis of truck data help to avoid unnecessary downtime. An overall inspection is only required after 1,000 operating hours. The first hydraulic oil and hydraulic oil filter change is only due after 6,000 hours (about three years).
