HEAVY HANDLING PICK AND CARRY
- mobile heavy lifting

At N.C. Nielsen, we prioritize customer focus. An increasing number of clients now seek machines for mobile lifting with capacities starting at 200 tons and even exceeding 500 tons. Hence, we are introducing a new product category to the global market: Heavy Handling Pick and Carry!

The name of these new hybrid machines reveals a crucial detail: Despite managing colossal lifts of several hundred tons, the mobile lifting machine must be easy to operate and effortlessly transport the load from production, through storage areas, to the quayside, and even onboard RoRo ships. This is the capability of the HH Pick and Carry!

The modularly designed machine is flexibly adjusted to the task with telescopic chassis legs that can be extended in width, operated from the ground, a platform, or a cabin, and offers increased mobility with the ability to move on various types of surfaces. As a combination of elements from a Self-Propelled Modular Transporter (SPMT) trailer and a crane, it navigates safely, flexibly, and efficiently.

We are starting with three variants:
Tower Mover is particularly suited for wind turbine towers, gigantic concrete pipes, platforms, and elongated structures.
Multi Handler is designed for diverse lifting tasks like heavy machinery parts, shipping goods, industrial semi-finished products, and much more.
Mobile Straddle Transporter can be used independently for heavy lifts and flexibly in combination with the other two base models. Additionally, this model can traverse over the entire load, for example, when lifting onboard a RoRo ship.

Furthermore, the Pick and Carry machines can be equipped with various additional equipment such as hydraulic grips, spreader beams, and special aggregates, making them virtually capable of handling any internal transport task requiring extra muscle.

At N.C. Nielsen, safety is paramount. The machines are designed with maximum visibility of the work area, remote operation, low turning radius, narrow aisle capability, and a comprehensive safety package including cameras and laser lights.

Last but not least: N.C. Nielsen's service is global, ensuring a complete service setup with local forces and backup from specialists from well-known service partners. In addition, N.C. Nielsen offers technical online support and various devices for monitoring usage time.
